The breakfast was nice hot with also the regular continental stuff and fluffy real eggs, for example, thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were superfriendly and the services were superb.

We stayed in a beautifully decoratedroom with a full kitchen and screened-in gazebo on land, for example. Truly enjoyed the location right on the St Lawrence river.

Some of the staff were kind of rude.

The complimentary breakfast here was delicious with a variety of flavored creamers and fluffy real eggs, showcasing attention to detail, and the location was perfect for me.

The breakfast included delicious sausage, fluffy eggs, and tasty breakfast potatoes. The staff was accommodating when our plans changed and gave us an extra room at a fair price. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had flat screens. Good value for the time of year.

The townhouse was very spacious and comfortable.The breakfast was good, eggs and sausage, yogurt, fruit cocktail, various breads, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, tea and coffee. The St Lawrence River is quite lovely. We did not have time for any of the sports activities. We were attending Clarkson University orientation and it is about a 45 minute drive.

It was a very clean and comfortable room and the price was excellent. I received a two room suite for a reasonable price for a single room. The full buffet breakfast that came with the room was very good.

The hotel had a great view of the river and the sunset was absolutely stunning. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a variety of options and the food was delicious. It was nice to have a complimentary meal to start the day.

The customer service at the front desk was lacking. There was a long wait to check-in and the staff seemed unorganized.

Sit back and watch the river from this comfortable hotel. The location is right next to the river, offering breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River and magnificent sunsets. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a small fridge and microwave. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast room is pleasant, serving delicious food including real eggs. The grounds are well maintained and there is a gazebo on the water to relax in. It's a perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

There were a few minor issues with the room, such as a missing smoke alarm and a constantly running toilet that needed to be manually shut off.

Location was convenient, rooms were spacious for family, staff was friendly. Bed was surprisingly comfy. Charming facility with outdoor activities for kids. Clean room with fridge, sitting area, and good water pressure. Breakfast had plenty of choices and nice atmosphere. Great staff, accommodating and quick when an issue arose.

the washroom was not clean and the overall building smelled musty

We have always enjoyed our stays at the Stone Fence. The location on the river can not be beat. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms is a plus as well as the friendly and helpful staff. We would choose this lovely spot again as a place to stay on a quick get away.

Reasonably spacious and extremely pleasant rooms with an excellent view of the lake. Very pleasant, supper friendly staff with smiling face. Location short walk to Ogdensburg to SUNY Canton's open house Columbus Day Weekend as well as the shore.
